Hi, I am Deirdre…

Ever since I can remember, I have loved being behind the camera. After a decade in the corporate world, I left my career as computer programmer and pursued my dream of becoming a full time photographer. Thanks to my wonderful supportive husband, I have completed my studies, and opened my own studio. I am technical minded, with a deep appreciation for beauty and creativity.

As a mom of four, including a set of twins, I know just how quickly those first few days go by. I love capturing the innocence and all the little details that you want to cherish forever - those tiny toes, little rolls, baby fluff and flaky skin.

I am fortunate to have been trained by some of the top international newborn photographers in the industry, including newborn safety, posing, lighting and styling.

I love what I do, and being able to snuggle up to these precious bundles is the biggest perk of all!

Awards

In 2020, I received five bronze awards from the prestigious Rise International Photography Awards.

I am honoured to have been chosen as one of the top 10 newborn photographers in the country in the most recent Admired in Africa awards.

About the Studio

Located inside a secure residential estate, the studio provides safe parking and a comfortable environment to sit back and watch me work. There is a tea and coffee station, as well as a private room for baby feeding and wardrobe changes.
